Homophobia is like racism and anti-semitism and other forms of bigotry in that it seeks to dehumanize a large group of people, to deny their humanity, their dignity and personhood. This sets the stage for further repression and violence that spread all too easily to victimize the next minority group.
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who matter won't mind, and those who mind don't matter.
Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comforatable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands?
Why should we take advice on sex from the pope? If he knows anything about it, he shouldn't!
The bible contains 6 admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision.
No government has the right to tell it's citizens when or whom to love. The only queer people are those who don't love anybody.

Homosexuality is God's way of insuring that the truly gifted aren't burdened with children.
The plague of man-kind is the fear and rejection of diversity: monotheism, monarchy, monogamy and, in our age, monomedicine. The belief that there is only one right way to live, only one right way to regulate religious, political, sexulal, medical affairs is the root cause of the greatest threat to man: members of his own species, bent on ensuring his salvation, security, and sanity.
If gay and lesbian people are given civil rights, then everyone will want them!
We belong in a world whose very structure, whose essence, is diversity almost bewildering in extent and it is to live in a fool’s paradise to ignore this basic fact.
