These styles really lend themselves - Any matching of blues, folk, roots, rock or soul performers could make for a great lineup and entertaining show. Maybe it's because I love it so much, but these styles feel underrepresented in our area.
I'm making it private so we don't get spammed, or any nonsense like that. So the members here really want to be here. To that end - I want to moderate as little as possible and make a space to get together - plan shows, swap gigs, whatever goes into making funkybluesfolk a musical force in our area.
On any given night, I'd rather be playing a show than not playing a show - if the same goes for you, we can all make music and more of it.
Last thing! If you know any performers in the greater Lehigh Valley who would also like to get in on this, please refer them to join this group. Again, I'm not trying to run the show - but let's have a community of people who are actively playing out, or are ready and looking for opportunities to play out. |
