First Id like to say welcome to the "US Navy" group. As the moderator of this website I’ve posted some web links below (click on the BLUE lettering). These should be especially useful for all the: boot camp / delayed entry program / or new sailors that come on here looking for answers.
If you fall in the category of being in: Navy Delayed Entry Program (DEP) / waiting to report to boot camp / or are very new to the US Navy then I’d suggest using the available resources in the links below first. This group is for anyone who is currently serving, or has served in the U.S. NAVY on active duty or the reserves, or for family members of those serving. Of course this myspace group is UNOFFICIAL, and not affiliated with the U.S. Navy in anyway.
To request to join you MUST HAVE a picture or something in your profile relating to the U.S. Navy before I’ll approve you to join this PRIVATE group. Note I only check this group during the week, so please be patient with your request to join, and don’t spam me. If you join this group - then please participate in our topics and bulletins - we look forwarding to hearing from you.
I hold the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime for any reason that I deem appropriate.
Do not discuss politics’, elections, religion, or other non Navy related items. Threads / topics will be deleted! There are other groups on myspace for these topics.
Please don’t come on here and advertise for other groups, or try and sell your stuff. This is not what this group is here for. As I find these types of posts I’ll delete them. If you find someone’s posting something that they shouldn’t - alert me. Please keep the topics Navy related.
I’d like to bring this group back to the actual sailors that are already IN the US Navy, NAVETS (Navy Veterans), and their families. Not so much to DEP’ers, but your welcome to come back after you’re IN. Thanks.
Oh and make sure you add to the forum’s and bulletin board in a POSITIVE way. Hit "View all topic’s" - we have lots of them. Remember OPSEC!
Also don’t come on here and talk badly about Sailors to include Recruiter’s. Trust me when I say this - Navy Recruiting Command is watching and DEP’ers as well as all Sailors need to maintain "Honor, Courage and Commitment" at all times! If you can’t then don’t post in this group!
