UPDATE 27/05/08 - The updated Hive of Cretins website is now live!
UPDATE 07/04/08 - More on the Hive of Cretins pilot episode "Maladite Meets the Beast". Just want to get a few friends together to read through the BRAND NEW pilot episode. It is written for radio so not too much imagination should be needed to enjoy it. Anyone is welcome (partners, spouses, friends, f*ck buddies), we have had a couple of successful readings and we are on about draft 226 now and we'd love everyone's HONEST opinion on it!
UPDATE 12/03/08 - The Hive of Cretins pilot episode "Maladite's Meets the Beast" will have its first rehearsed reading courtesy of the 'London Comedy Writers Group'. It will take place at the Kings Head pub in Borough on Tuesday the 18th March from 7pm.

Background - A Hive of Cretins is the brainchild of actor Danny Mills and writer Nathan Hughes, a six-part situation comedy about the employees of a Yorkshire based fast-food establishment 'Happy Burger'. Maladite, a self proclaimed intellectual who cannot take criticism, Poet Russ, a self obsessed and slightly unhinged raconteur, Shannon the original pessimist and unlucky-in-love, weakly working man Gavin. We follow the fortunes of the four as they try to fulfil their dreams and avoid falling foul of the sinister forces awaiting them at every turn. |
