At the center of downtown Oakland’s emerging art and social scene, the Awaken Café will be a coffee and tea house, community center, and art gallery. After dark, we will transform into a beer and wine bar which will be known as a premiere destination for cutting edge music and live performance in the East Bay.
Walk through our doors and you will enter a truly unique and sustainably designed space that is welcoming, comfortable, and full of life. Our staff, along with serving you the perfect cup of coffee, tea, and other simple and creative treats, will greet you by name and introduce you to members of our community.
