We propose that every lawful, peaceful and honorable means be used to forge a modern professional Confederate Military Ceremonial Honor Guard. Such a legion would carry the colors of the Confederate States of America in parades, conventions and various other activities. The Confederate Legion would be foresworn to uphold the highest traditions of our history, heritage, culture and nationhood.
Let me introduce myself; I am the Founder, Confederate Legion! It took over a decade to convince enough people to join together and launch our family, Christian oriented Confederate Ceremonial Honor Guard. The reasons are explained on this MySpace Group, but suffice it to say, we can collectively cause a chain of events to unfold, which would have the effect of altering the course of future history in favor of the Confederate Cause.
However in order to make this happen it is necessary to create a spectacle so enormous it will gain the undivided attention of the mass media, the bureaucracy as well as the general population. Such a event requires fielding at least 3,000,000 loyal, disciplined, trained and equipped Legionnaires, a million are needed for a spectacle.
The critical importance in such a large number of Legionnaires is to overcome the tendency that many would not be able to attend due to work schedules, family sickness and other emergencies. Our mathematicians can calculate if they wish, how long it would take for that many Confederate Legionnaires to pass a given point, but for me, the event will have the effect of rolling back the surrender of our Confederate Armies.
It is estimated that no fewer then 2,000,000,000 human beings would be watching such an event and this can not help but cause our story to be front page and prime time for a very long time afterwards. So many among our numbers have expressed a desire for a free and independent Confederate States of America; this is the way to make it happen.
