Houston Young Republicans is an organization that brings together 21-40 year old, like-minded Republicans to work to advance the growth of the Republican Party by assisting in the election of Republican nominees to public office and in the process; HYR helps equip young Republican leaders to help build the future of the party.
HYR encourages awareness and active participation in the political process at all levels of government by its members and the community. Members of HYR support and promote the philosophies and ideals of the Republican Party of Texas and the Texas Young Republican Federation.
HYR offers its members:
• Excellent networking opportunities at our monthly happy hours;
• Quality speakers and panel discussions at our regular meetings;
• Opportunities to develop grass roots experience volunteering with our Republican candidates;
