When I started this group, I knew very little about grief support for those who suffering the loss of a young child. My Kyla Theresa was born 7/25/00 and drowned 10/8/02. She passed away 10/24/02. My life has sure changed! I now have a son, Konor Chance (1/27/04) and am pregnant with another! But one thing that has NOT changed is my beliefs, or lack thereof. My husband Todd and I are both atheists.
I would like this group to be for the free thinking, like minded, intelligent and realistic folks who have also lost a young child--5yrs and younger.However since I know that it is often difficult to find such a support group for A/A's I will happily allow anyone to join who has lost a loved one. I also want it to be a place to share the joys of the other children we may have or are about to have. This site is meant to share memories, poetry, and offer one another support.
