Brett Favre aka "IRON MAN" "THE MAN OF STEEL" "THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR" is one of the best QB’s ever in the NFL. Born in Gulfport, MS in October 10th 1969 he never knew that he would come to effect so many people’s lives, break so many records and become a true legend in the NFL. Brett played football in College at Southern Mississippi. Alabama Coach Gene Stallings once said "You can call it a miracle or a legend or whatever you want to. I just know that on that day, Brett Favre was larger than life." in regards to Brett leading his team to a comeback win over Alabama.
He has now played 17 season in the NFL, his first year with the Atlanta Falcons (boy they must be kicking themselves in the butt now) and his last 14 seasons with the Great Green Bay Packers. He has started every game since he came in for an injured Don Majkowski &
now holding a QB record for 232 consecutive starts (including playoff games & super bowls).
He is also the ONLY NFL player with 3 MVP’s & has gone to the Super Bowl twice winning 1 against the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI.
Other records include Career Passing Yards with 53,615...Career Passing TD’s with 396...Career Passing Attempts with 7,606...Career Completions with 4,678...Career Wins with 139!!!! (more to be added later)

Favre has also won quite a few awards through out his career...1996 UPI NFC Off POY, 1996 PFWA MVP, 1996 Bert
Bell Award, 1995 AP Offensive POY, 1995 PFWA MVP, 1995 UPI NFC Off POY, 1995 Bert Bell Award. He was also honored as 1 of the 1990’s All-Decade Team & has played in 8 Pro Bowls.
On November 29, 2004 the Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle declared that it would be Brett Favre day, which was to honor Favre’s 200th consecutive start. Brett was also named (by Men’s Health Magazine) the "Toughest Person in America in 2003. Also Brett’s High School, Hancock North Central honored him in 2004 by naming their field "Brett Favre Field" which included a life-sized statue.
The ’Brett Favre Fourward Foundation’ is also a huge part of Brett & his family’s life. It was founded in 1996. In conjunction with his annual golf tournament, celebrity softball game and fundraising dinners, foundation has donated more than $2 million to charities in his home state of Mississippi as well as to those in his adopted state of Wisconsin. Last but not least as us women know, & completely agree with, Brett won the NFL’s Sexiest Man Competition ran by Fox Sports in 2006.
