Welcome to the Sacramento Boardgames Meetup! This is an excellent place to find fellow gamers, try out some new games, and generally have a great time.
The regular monthly meetup is just one of many events available. Many of our members also belong to other local gaming groups such as SABA, Sacramento Boardgames Club and the Sacramento Gaming Community. Besides the public events, some members host private events in their homes. These are usually not on the calendar, so you need to find out about these by word-of-mouth (or should I say "word of email"?)
If you're interested in a particular game, the Sacramento area has game-specific groups for Chess, Civilization, Dungeons & Dragons, Go, Magic: The Gathering, Scrabble, and Settlers of Catan. (I'm sure that there are other groups which I have left out inadvertantly. If you have a group you would like listed here, let me know. Likewise, if you find that one of these groups is defunct, let me know so I can pull it.)

Sacramento has one of the largest Boardgames Meetup groups in the world (!), so come out and join us--you'll almost certainly find somebody who shares you particular interests!
