In an increasingly disposible, computerized, automated, accelerated world, there are few places to retreat where one can fully master his/her trade before a machine can do it faster and cheaper. This is one such retreat. Myriad practical matters of daily life are being reduced to 1’s and 0’s but the tools of self-expression can never truely fulfill their users’ purposes when our messages are mediated by the interferance of technologies designed to see for us.
So come see for yourself!
Our eyes will not be hijacked by an imperialistic (and electronic) creed of speed and efficiency! Our focusing eyes will not be controlled by servo motors assembled by offshore subcontractors but by the twist of our own nimble fingers!

We endorse a balanced allegiance between corporations, small business and interpersonal exchange.
We teach and are taught.
We repair, reuse and recycle the tymeless trash of a careless trend-obsessed society and put these fabulous forgotten tools to the noble service of expanding our independance from the complicated and frail infrastructures of that society.
