Motion City Soundtrack is a Minnesota based pop-punk band that pulls influence from artists like Jawbox, Superchunk, Sunny Day Real Estate, Fugazi, and The Rentals.
Motion City Soundtrack have currently released two full-length albums. I Am the Movie, the group's first album was self-released twice with handmade covers in limited quantities during 2002, the album was then re-released under Epitaph. In the summer of 2005, Motion City Soundtrack released their highly anticipated second album, Commit This to Memory. They also took part in the first ever Epitaph tour, which ran throughout the United States during February and March.
