Students for the Second Amendment is a non-partisan, campus based, student organization.

Students for the Second Amendment is currently active in twenty two states and one Canadian province.

Students for the Second Amendment is dedicated to educating young people about their rights guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States, especially that right that is the guarantor of all the others - the Second Amendment.

Students for the Second Amendment is committed to instilling in students a love of country, the rule of law, and an understanding of not only their rights, but their obligations as freedom-loving individuals and citizens.

By sponsoring speakers, workshops, and events, Students for the Second Amendment stands on the front lines in defense of freedom against the assault on our young people by the academic left.

As a result of our varied programs, Students for the Second Amendment has generated an estimated, $87,000 worth of earned media on local, statewide, and national media outlets.

Our Senior Advisory Board includes such notables as: Retired Texas Ranger, Joaquin Jackson, U.S. Marshal Jack Dean, Texas Land Commissioner, Jerry Patterson, Congressman Ron Paul, Rocker Ted Nugent, Congressman Bob Barr, among many others.

Our Collegiate Firearms Instructor Program introduced over 3600 young people to the safe enjoyment of the shooting sports in academic year 2004-2005, and 4400 youngsters to date. This year we are on track to surpass those numbers. We hosted an NRA Shooting Sports Camp last October attended by over 550 kids and parents. SF2A/CFIP provided training and range supervision at a number of Cub Scout Day Camps and Adventure Camps in South Texas. CFIP has sponsored dozens of NRA First Steps Rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun classes and programs for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Civil Air Patrol, Big Brothers and Sisters, and Texas Youth Hunters Program participants. The demand for our training and services is increasing almost faster than we can keep up. We are now working to expand CFIP into North Texas, Idaho, Florida, California, and Southern Virginia this year.

Students for the Second Amendment has established itself as a powerful advocate for liberty. We are armed with common sense, truth, and the knowledge that what we are doing is essential to the preservation of our common heritage of freedom, and our founding father's legacy of liberty.
