* Never pay anyone advance fees ever. We repeat, NEVER! If you are asked by any Agent or Manager for money before they get you a job, you can be sure they are NOT legitimate and you can be sure you are being ripped off.
* Legitimate licensed model agents never charge money or require up front fees or dues. They receive 15-20% commission on modeling jobs or 10% on TV and film jobs. They get you after you get paid for the job.
* Legitimate model agents have relationships with casting directors, personal managers, photographers, producers and production companies.
* Legitimate model agents can legally negotiate deals for you.
