This is a group which enables musicians and songwriters to draw attention to new material they have written and performed and which they are publishing on the internet for the first time. Reworkings of existing pieces are not eligible.
Unlike other groups, each song or piece of music will have its own thread. Comments and reviews added to that thread should concern the song/piece of music in question and that work only.
Artists are asked to restrict themselves to ONE NEW THREAD ONLY PER CALENDAR MONTH. That is to say you may notify this group of one song only in each calendar month. I regard this as an important rule and I shall ban anyone who breaks it.
No general discussion threads, however worthwhile in themselves, will be tolerated in this group. I want nothing to deflect it from the express purpose of notifying and reviewing individual pieces of new work.
However, polite and well intentioned general banter within the review threads themselves is of course welcome.
This group welcomes musicians from all genres. |
