This is a quasi-historical reenactment group We attempt to recreate (with varying degrees of inacuracy) the highly romanticized version of life during the Golden Age of piracy. It is our goal to eventually practice period crafts, such as leatherworking, knot-tying, and handstitching, as well as basic fighting techniques in fencing, archery, and other simulated but safe weaponry. It is a goal of our group to have several official gatherings each year, to socialize with the entire crew and further our mission. Theoretically, small workshops for specific sports and crafts will also be held, on their own schedules. Most of this, however, is quite tentative. Since we are currently "in construction" of our organization, none of this has happened yet, but we'd love people to help us make it a reality! Thank you! |
