| Our mission: To fund and operate a foundation to maintain and conserve a breeding population of European Honeybees (our prime pollinator of human crops). To further fund research into the cause or causes of “Colony collapse syndrome" and also fund development of isolated environments in which to protect a diverse genetic population of breeding queens; as a resource to repopulation of our wild and cultured colonies. This effort to include but by no means be limited to both genetic and hormonal manipulation of developing egg/pupa, etc to produce greater populations of viable queens, attending drones and attendant workers. |
