An American journalist and TV personality, Nicole Lapin joined CNN at
the Global Headquarters in Atlanta in 2006. Lapin came on board with
the original anchor team for CNN Pipeline. She also contributes daily
to CNN Headline News.
In 2007, Nicole Lapin launched a series for the network, "Young People
Who Rock," featuring influential young people. Lapin talks to a
different person under 30 each week doing amazing things: from CEOs to
Athletes to Community Leaders.
Nicole Lapin also serves as the Global Ambassador for the Starlight
Starbright Children's Charity. Lapin has a series called "Being Smart
is Cool," where she informs sick children about world events.
Nicole Lapin started her career at the CBS affiliates in Sioux Falls,
SD; Lexington, KY; Palm Springs, CA. She also served as a business
reporter on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade for the nationally
syndicated morning show, First Business. Lapin worked at NBC News in
New York and Chicago.
Nicole Lapin graduated as the valedictorian of her Medill School of
Journalism Class at Northwestern University. She also received honors
for her double major in political science. Lapin international
politics studied in Paris, France at the prestigious Sciences-Po.
She finished her studies at a young age, fast-tracked her career and
is often considered the "Doogie Howser" of broadcast news.
Nicole talks up manners as one of the 21 icons of style in Men's Health
Nicole was in Wired Magazine standing on top of an anchor desk,
defying conventional ideas of a stiff newscaster. "Sure, she could
pass for Lindsay Lohan, but Nicole Lapin isn't just a pretty face
sitting behind a news desk," it said.
Nicole has shown her "chic geek" side in other publications, like Lucky Magazine.
