C3: Colorectal Cancer Coalition is a non-partisan advocacy organization that is committed to the fight against colon and rectal cancer.

C3 works with Congress, the Administration and research entities like the National Cancer Institute to push for:
- Research to improve screening, diagnosis, and treatment of colon and rectal cancer;
- Policy decisions that support colon and rectal cancer patients; and
- Increased awareness that colorectal cancer is preventable, treatable, and beatable.

We are the only national patient advocacy organization solely devoted to colon and rectal cancer. We rely on our advocates to work with their elected officials to apply pressure that will impact change.

C3 is based in the Washington, DC area, maintains a frequently-updated website at http://www.FightColorectalCancer.org and publishes four print newsletters a year.

We push for legislation that will move the fight against colorectal cancer forward, and train and support grassroots advocates to engage their communities and elected officials. At the same time, C3 trains and supports research advocates serving on advisory committees for publicly funded research.

C3 also distributes the colorectal cancer Blue Star of Hope awareness pin to health care providers and the general public to help spread the word that colorectal cancer is preventable, beatable and treatable!
