Hey guys! Welcome to The Stuttering Foundation's Myspace. Let me introduce myself: My name is Eva Woolwine. The great state of Kansas is where I call home. I am a 21 year old junior in college, and my major is in Elementary Education. Typically, I can be described as an average 21 year old girl, except for the fact that I stutter. It's thrilling to be the group leader for the Stuttering Foundation's Myspace. Hopefully, this can be the place where other stutterers can share and get advice about stuttering. Also, I think this would be a great place for non stutterers to learn about this misunderstood challenge. Feel free to post any positive comments or questions relating to stuttering! Please check out the great links from the Stuttering Foundation of America. Enjoy the site and remember if you stutter, you're not alone!!!
The Stuttering Foundation intends this site to be a place for teens and young adults to share successes, ups and downs, ideas, tips, and fellowship. We hope those of you who either need, or can share, support will find education, hope, and compassion here. The Stuttering Foundation does not dispense nor endorse medical advice. Rather, via our web site, you can access the latest in research and find referrals to qualified fluency specialists in the field of speech/language pathology. Our MySpace is monitored regularly for any and all inappropriate or erroneous comments. Join us in celebrating our 60th year as the only foundation that does just what we do – for you!
