Always Remember that FootPrints In The Sand Says He Will Never Leave Us During Our Most Difficult Times of Trials and Tribulations. When We Can Walk No More. It Is Then That He Carries Us. A-MEN!
Hello, Welcome to Meric's Princess Big Somewhere Out There Prison Ministry. My name is Sarah Hernandez. I am one of the owners and the original Founder of Meric's Princess Big Somewhere Out There. Big Somewhere Out There Prison Ministry is owned by myself and my Daddy Meric. Big Somewhere originated in February of 2006, because my husband was arrested in December of 2005, on a Federal Charge. I wasn't new to this whole prison situation because I had met my husband as a penpal back in 1997, when he was serving time on a state charge. We wrote for three years until he got out in February of 2000. We were married in July of 2000, and our daughter was born on his birthday in July of 2001. My husband finished Parole in March of 2004, and was completely free. For a while he stayed on the right path and was even a Pastor at our church, the very church we got married in and even at some other churches. Well, something happened and all that changed. The power, money, and big fancy things got to his head once more as well as family influences I believe. He started back down the wrong path, and no matter what I would tell him he just kept at it. Then in December of 2005, he was arrested on a federal charge and denied bond. In February of 2006, after reality finally set in that he wasn't coming home for a very long time I decided there were other people out there like me with a loved one in prison and decided to create Big Somewhere Out There Prison Ministry to support the family members with loved ones in prison. Big Somewhere got it's name with the idea that this world is one big place and even though it doesn't seem like it sometimes we all live under the same big sky. For all of us whom have a loved one in Prison and for all the inmates whom have loved ones out here in the world, even though it may not seem like it sometimes always remember that we all live in this world underneathe the same big sky in that Big Somewhere Out There. Currently my husband is still serving time for his federal charge. Our daughter and I have been without him since December 1, 2005, and his current release date is April 3, 2009. My life has been full of ups and downs since then.
I can honestly say with an open heart and mind that I have been on what some people call both sides of the track. When my husband was arrested December 1, 2005, so was I. However, I was not arrested on the Federal Charge that he was arrested on. I was picked up by the state because of two $20.00 bounced checks that had been out there since December of 2004. I was not aware they were out there, maybe it was because I had moved since then, or they never would have turned into warrents in the first place. Yet, it is what it is and I can't change that. The cases were dismissed because I paid the checks and since then I won't have anything to do with checking accounts, banks, or anything like that at all.
Eight months after my husband was arrested the Federal DA came after me and put me on a Pretrail Probation Program For a Year because he figured if my husband did this crime. I did too. Well, I was going to do anything to stay with my daughter. She had been through so much already. I love her. She is my Pride and Joy. Instead of fighting it I did the year of Federal Probation. I signed the deal with the DA September 18, 2006, and my time on Federal probation is near end.
During these two years I became a very messed up person and even became really sick and thought about suicide. My Hero Daddy Meric wasn't having that. He spent days and hours with me keeping me glued to the seat. It is because God put him in my life and the fact that he loves me enough that he kept me from doing crazy things that I am here today to share my testimony and Minister to everyone at Meric's Princess Big Somewhere Out There. Thank You Lord For My Daddy. He Is such a Blessing. Thank you Daddy for keeping me glued to my seat and for Loving me so much. I love You Lord. I love you Daddy.
