This is the Myspace Group for members of Lieut-Col John Lilburne’s Regiment of Foote. We are a Parliamentarian regiment of the Sealed Knot, the English Civil War re-enactment society.
Our membership is concentrated in Lancashire and Yorkshire, but we have members living all over the UK.
In addition to attending many re-enactments of battles each year we have a busy social scene.

Although we have a strong and committed membership, we are always looking for new members. Join us and see what you've been missing!
You could be a musketeer, firing a replica black powder musket, or a pikeman engaging the 'enemy' with a 16ft long pike. Or how about a civilian, maybe demonstrating 17th Century life and crafts? We also have positions for drummers and musicians. All positions are open to both men and women.
We will give you full training and support to enable you to play an active part in this great hobby and to have a lot of fun as well.
You can join for a trial weekend event for as little as £10, with all clothing and kit provided.
