The Writers Guild of American went on strike on November 5th, 2007. Despite negotiations leading up to the strike, the WGA and studios couldn't come to an agreement on DVD and royalties from internet sales.
Many shows are effected by this, such as popular late night shows like 'The Daily Show' and primetime dramas like 'Grey's Anatomy.' This strike will not only effect the writers, but each and every person who works on television shows and movies.
