Objective
Cascadia Commons seeks to gather the inhabitants of the Cascadian Bioregion into a mutually supportive organization capable of sharing knowledge for engendering the innovation, support and communication necessary to advance local and bioregional sustainability, and to ensure resources are protected for future generations.
Social networking is central to Web 3.0 technology, and to address social and environmental concerns of the 21st century, Cascadia Commons seeks to develop social networking website. The site will provide functionalities and plugins that serve to foster the vitality of the Pacific Northwest communities and the bioregion.
In conjunction with the social networking website, and the bioregional alliance of land trusts, Cascadia Commons will establish a friendly-society that provides a mutual assurance and investment programs allowing more people to afford healthcare, housing, and education.
