To all So Called Christians antiMormons. In this Group you are not allowed to COPY AND PASTE anti Mormon propaganda if so you will BANNED PERIOD.
If you would like to learn or discuss one of the Doctrines that you do not understand please ask.
PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME YOU UNDERSTAND OUR DOCTRINES, because even members of The Church pray, fast and ponder to receive REVELATION in any subject of the Church, and there is no other way.
The same with The Book of Mormon, and it is protected by Our Heavenly Father and there is only one key to know for your self...
3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
(Book of Mormon | Moroni 10:3 - 5)
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
(New Testament | 1 Corinthians 2:14 - 16)

WHAT LDS (aka Mormons) MEMBERS BELIEVE?
1 WE believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2 We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.
3 We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4 We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5 We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
6 We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
7 We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8 We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
9 We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10 We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12 We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13 We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of PaulWe believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

21 And I command you that you preach naught but repentance, and show not these things unto the world until it is wisdom in me.
22 For they cannot bear meat now, but milk they must receive; wherefore, they must not know these things, lest they perish.
23 Learn of me, and listen to my words; walk in the meekness of my Spirit, and you shall have peace in me.
24 I am Jesus Christ; I came by the will of the Father, and I do his will.
(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 19:21 - 24)
ARE LDS (aka Mormons) CHRISTIANS?
Listen all brothers and sisters there is no definitive statement of what constitutes Christianity to be found in the Bible other than in the church of Antioch were called Christians for first time.(New Testament | Acts 11:26)
If there were, there wouldn't be so many churches, some believing baptism to be essential, others saying it's not, some saying worship must be done on saturdays, others on sunday, for example.
What it boils down to is that many non members excludes us from Christianity because we LDS members don't believe exactly what they believe.
All words are subject to definition. Some have a variety of meanings, even seemingly contradictory at times, making it necessary to exercise discretion with regard to the context in which they are used.
The word Christian is one of them. People of many denominations regard themselves as Christians, even though their creeds vary widely. The Latter Day Saints have a defenition by which they establish their Christian status.
4 For thus shall my church be called in the last days, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 115:4)
How could we not be Christians when the Savior's name is the name of our church?
The reason people of diferent denominations who don't know us think we don't believe in Jesus Christ is that they know us only by NICKNAME ORIGINALLY given to us by our enemies and they still calling us... MORMONS.
If you are not please call us The members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or LDS.
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father
will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
(New Testament | John 14:23)
