STATEMENT:
Who we are:
Dance Planet X's front woman, Monserrattz
Kresspo along with Band Mate Irygirl, and Miami DJ Maximus 3000, are Sister
8025 Records.
Our name:
Miami, FL is located at
25.76N -80.21W, Miami's latitude and longitude, hence 8025.
Miami is the geographical
intersection of Sister 8025 records owners.
Our Formation:
The "Sister" part is
something we hit on, and rightly so since Monserrattz's sister, Veronica
who also happens to be Irygirl's girl, has supported Dance Planet X
-emotionally and financially since it's pre-Dance Planet X days when it
went by the moniker Q-baa til the present and she is the ONLY reason why
Dance Planet X is alive and kicking today....That journey, a convoluted
and fascinating one, and all the resulting music is in a very real sense
brought to you by and made possible by our Sister.
Sister 8025 records comes
full circle and into a trio with the fortunate addition of Maximus 3000,
who has an adoration for "Fierce Woman Musicians" as he likes to put it.
He shares with Monserrattz and Irygirl an innate, unstoppable drive and
thirst for Artistic expression.
with the three of us now
known as Sister 8025 records, we intend to Assault the world with Art and
Music on all levels....
we all have individual
tastes in music and culture but see eye to eye on many many levels, the
triumvirate is out to conquer the world! one record at a time , Check

perfectly...'THE RADIO SUX, THE MAJOR RECORD LABELS ARE LAME AND
INDEPENDENT ARTIST'S ARE IN CONTROL...." Wired.
It's uncanny how in sync
we are with BECK in his thinking..."NO MORE 13 SONG CD RELEASES..let's have remixes,
cluster releases, videos" (BECK) and LET THE GAMES & FUN
BEGIN. You can also check out the article on
Gabriel and Dresden
regarding remixes and the trend toward integrating the meaning of the SONG
and what the artist had in mind into the remix. (Lyrics, meaning,
emotional expression in Electronica etc....) This article expresses our
observations and opinions on the trends of dance music...To quote the
dynamic duo "The dance scene is going through ecstasy
withdrawal, and now the music alone must be the drug."
The formation/creation of
Sister8025 records is the logical extension of all we've learned and
accomplished and is right in sync with the times. For those of you who
know us personally, we are self-made (on many levels) , independent
people who live our dreams..we are with eyes wide open-living
in the moment. The past...a memory occasionally visiting us
with the sting of nostalgia....but The Future...ha! now you're
talking!..the Future, an exciting destination, but one that slips from
our grasp the instant we step into it..ever elusive, forever fleeting.
It's simply a function of the Human condition- Nothing more, nothing
less so we can accept that. We are careful to be fully alive in the
NOW!
Our primary goal is to
spread like a virus on the PLANET EARTH and throughout the Universe,
known and unknown..and, to therefore, honor the name of our inaugural
artist:..DANCE PLANET X. One of the by-products of our success
(wholly unintentional, but at the same time wholly unavoidable), is
the provocation of great annoyance in all the cockblockers whom we've
encountered! haaaaaaaaaaaaa Much like our cosmic counterpart Pluto
(Planet Exed), we support and endure the fringe of Dance and
Alternative Music and plan on building a new solar system with other
like-minded artists... with infinite galactic possibilities

DANCE PLANET X
Dance
Planet X's (DPX) unique, yet approachable style positions them perfectly for
their much anticipated journey into clubland and the world of DJs and
remixes. Their extensive discography and ever-growing popularity, a proud
asset to a young label like Sister8025records The music ranges from dark
electronica w filtered vox, sci-fi fantasy, tributes to film & directors,
anthems for South Beach, Fl and Tokyo, vamypric luvlust songs and more. They
enjoy composer representation in Los Angeles from NOMA music; a leader in
music placement for film, TV, commercial, video games. Dance Planet X and
Sister8025 records are affiliated with Deep C-Star Production, a multi-media
company specializing in music video and films. Together, they will have a
strong visual presence on the internet and other evolving avenues
for traditional and non-traditional music videos/visuals.
They provide producers/remixers with songs that expand the subject matter
traditionally used in dance music and will help usher in
an inevitable transition best described by Gabriel and Dresden "The dance
scene going through ecstasy withdrawal, and now the music alone must be the
drug."
Dance
Planet X ..... Lead singer/ songwriter Monserrattz's BA Magna Cum Laude in
Literature/Journalism from University of Miami serves her well. An easy,
natural writer with a flair for non-cliche, yet simple lyrics, Monserrattz
has always been interested in infusing electronica's digital, geometric,
sometimes impersonal world with the sensibilty of a poet; infusing it with
the heat of a blood flowing pulse-fully entrenched in a future world that
will always need to express the human experience and condition: No matter
where it takes us. Monserrattz possesses one of those rare, signature
voices, instantly recognizable. She has a highly individual approach to
lyrics, phrasing, melody and harmonies. A stylish, charismatic person fully
committed to the creation of music, her musical output is prolific. She is
of the breed of the unusual and intriguing songstress: i.e. Bjork, Eartha
Kit; unusual looks, worldview, creativity and level of talent.
Iry
combines traditional instrumentation and arrangements with a wide range of
pop, electronic, dance and downtempo grooves to complete what is Dance
Planet X today. Although primarily a pianist/keyboardist, Iry also has the
ability to perform and compose for multiple instruments, with a flair for
arrangement and orchestration. Her ability for musical styles is very
broad, having studied classical piano and collaborated in genres ranging
from, electronica, pop and R&B to boleros, salsa and menrengue. Iry also
received an Honorable Mention from Billboard's 10th annual
songwriting contest. She comes from a family of musicians, and owes much of
her inspiration to her father, a vocalist and guitarist. She holds a BA in
Music Education and is certified to teach music in the State of Florida.

MAXIMUS 3000
Born a libra in 1980 as Alex Ferbeyre. Son
of a Cuban French father and a second generation Cuban American Spanish and
Italian mother from New Jersey. Musical roots span from Cuban Mambo to
Garage Disco. Growing Up in the 80's Maximus 3000 was engulfed in the height
of the new wave and freestyle-electro boom of the post-disco era of music.
Having parents that were widely interested in disco and dance music as well
as their strong Caribbean-Latin roots paved the way to Max's musical
interest.
From early childhood, Maximus' interest and
delight in music was apparent. Making home made mix tapes from Police, Eddy
Grant, and Duran Duran records; to making compilations of music from the
radio. The huge influx of house music in the late 90's sparked a passion in
Maximus 3000 that is still a strong influence in the creative force that
drives his mixes today. The Mixing Style Of Maximus 3000 Has a notoriety for
being Eclectic. Fusing elements of Early 80's Electro and Classic Breaks
with Modern Downtempo Disco House. Influences of French house and early
electronica Drives the Tempo for his Mixes; Flipping Back and forth in Time
and style giving the Live mixes a Nostalgic flair that is Ear Candy each
time a live Performance is made. Being a Miami native and a baby of the
Freestyle /new wave movement of the 80's expect to hear oldies but goodies
in a new and unique modern twist.
With a solid musical knowledge of classic
house and disco, you will here rare cuts of the past with a strong impact.
Major emphasis though, resides in the beginning of house and electronic
dance music; the most important, yet least appreciated time period,
1979-1985.
DJ Maximus 3000 is a
multimedia enigma. From graphic arts to Directing to cinematography
excursions. fashion , art and music ...Blending elements of the hottest
nostalgic re-fusions and combining modern and past pop culture tidbits.
forming a unique digital experience which splashes over the un-expecting
audience with auditory and visual stimulant Candy.The
name Maximus 3000 is an homage to the late Maximo Gonzalez, Maximus'
grandfather and one of the most wonderful men to have walked the earth.
