CLUB for the GARDEN STATE FANaticS!

Andrew Largeman shuffled through life in a lithiumi-induced coma until his mother's death inspired a vacation from the pills to see what might happen. A moderately successful TV actor living in LA, "Large" hasn't been home to the "Garden State" in nine years. Large finds old acquaintances around every corner living quite unique lives as gravediggers, fast food knights and the panderers of pyramid schemes. Meanwhile, at home, he does his best to avoid a long-simmering but inevitable confrontation with his father.

By a twist of fate, Large meets Sam, a girl who is everything he isn't. A blast of color, hope and quirks, Sam becomes a sidekick who refuses to ride in his sidecar. Her warmth and fearlessness give Large the courage to open his heart to the joy and pain of the infinite abyss that is life.

Braff says he was inspired to make GARDEN STATE because he felt there were few films that spoke honestly to his generation, to people in their twenties who were "beyond adolescence and for whom at one point or another a whole new sense of overwhelming anxiety sets in."

He observes that, "People my age are not getting married right away. As a result, they have more time to question themselves and everything around them. I wasn't seeing a whole lot of films that gave an honest account of what it felt like to be a 20-something in 2004."

Garden State is an AWESOME film. The writing, directing, cinamatography, acting, development, music, editing,....everything about it makes this film a MASTERPIECE. It's a definite must see and if you loved it as much as me, "join the club" as they say!
