Chuck Schuldiner was a God amongst men. He was a man who defined the sound and image of an entire culture, and upheld the ideals of his music until the very end. Often portrated as a hot headed ego maniac in the press, Chuck has been the center of much misguided criticism. Speculation aside, we must turn to the music and beautiful words that he left the world with to get an image of what the man really stood for.

"Support music, not rumors" he said. Chuck stayed true to his words in every way. He paved the way for thousands of musicians in a world dominated by corporate plague. His words cut into the soul. His music lifted the spirit into another realm. He was never afraid to expose the ugly face of human ways.

His legacy spans more than a decade. His memory spans an eternity.
