We exist to maintain peace.

And to that end: to take effective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression whether they be terrestrial in origin or otherwise.

We exist to foster the principles of equal rights and self-determination of all peoples and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace to the best of our abilities.

We exist because those with the power to stop injustice simply must.
