Do you want to hear something upsetting? I was recently in Portland engaging in interesting conversations with some locals there when I happened to mention the SLC street taco scene. When they heard me mention this, they actually laughed.

"Salt Lake has a street taco scene?!" joked one one of them.

"Maybe it does, but it isn't as good as Portland's street taco scene" echoed another.

"Dudes, I bet Salt Lake doesn't even have a decent street taco zine" blurted yet another.

Then they all high fived.

The sound of that particular high five still resonates in my brain.

This group is to unite those of us who are avid members of Salt Lake's street taco scene. There's a lot of us here and I think it's about time we all went to get a taco TOGETHER.
