Welcome. I'm a musician/music supervisor in Los Angeles. This group is primarily for musicians, bands, songwriters, music supervisors, music consultants, indie filmmakers and and indie record labels to share contacts, but also to create new avenues of exposure for musicians through film.





Joining musicians with filmmakers is win-win. Musicians gain unique exposure while helping independent filmmakers realize their goals. If you have something relevant to say or announce, do so. If you are looking to get your music into films, say so. If you are a filmmaker, music supervisor, or music consultant, make yourself known and tell us of projects you need music for. If you're a record label looking to expand your scope, you need to speak up!





If you're touring, this group has bands from coast to coast, all indie (there's an especially heavy amount of Los Angeles and NY/NJ bands here). Those touring the northeast are encouraged to contact these bands for gigs at places such as Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ, The Court Tavern in New Brunswick, NJ, The Stone Pony/The Saint both in Asbury Park, NJ, or a bevy of venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn (the same can be said for Los Angeles' venues: The Echo, Silverlake Lounge, The Scene, Spaceland, King King, Tangier, The Derby, El Cid... ). Trade shows, get floor space, couch surf, gas money, whatever. Do you need to fill a date in Minnesota on your way to California? Post a message and maybe "Gone Out Gone" can help.





This isn't my soapbox, it's everybody's. Ask questions and you'll get answers. Invite your peers to join this group and before you know it, we'll have a nationwide network that specifically circumvents the black holes of the music and film industries.
