The VRAC believes that a lot of talent, creativity and beauty are lost to the world because artists become discouraged. We believe that by providing access to space, raw materials, performance opportunities and the mentorship of other artists, we can encourage local artists of all mediums- from the fine arts to film and graphic design -to continue and succeed. Much of the market for artistic expression is mass media driven and thus unobtainable for the aspiring artist; the VRAC aims to break down these barriers and be a powerful force behind the local arts.
