Hi everyone,
I want to thank you all again for emailing me when you see troll activity in the group. Please keep sending the emails! It's a much more useful tactic than responding to their messages (which isn't useful at all..quite the opposite, in fact.)

PLEASE IGNORE THEM COMPLETELY.

*I understand that it is hard to ignore trolls as they know just what buttons to push. But, PLEASE refrain from engaging them. This group is hard enough to monitor and keep up with as it is and you'd all be doing me a HUGE favor if you refrain from responding to them. You're not going to change their minds, they only come in here to stir up our feathers and will continue to do so as long as even just one person responds to their remarks.
*All troll comments will be removed from the group as will all comments from users responding to the troll.
*Consider this: In the time one takes to respond to a troll, that person could make that time much more useful by posting new relevant topics, new ways we can support PP, and bonding together in the fight to keep PP available to us.
*I've mentioned that this is not a debate group. Several people have responded to trolls by stating just that which is great. However, when a user continues on to write a paragraph essentially
debating what the troll has written, we become a debate group. Lets all ban together and use this group in positive ways.

I do my best to check every single person coming into this group to keep out trolls or others who aren’t supporters of Planned Parenthood. If all I can see are your image, name, and headline, well...it’s simply not enough to go on to keep this group a safe place for supporters of Planned Parenthood.
