This is a group for all rock'n'roll fiends in the state of Missouri (St. Louis area, Kansas City/Lawrence, Columbia, Springfield, etc.) and surrounding areas who love old and new garage rock/punk, psych, bubblegum, power pop, girl groups, broken blues, classic punk rock, new wave, no wave, swamp rock, '50s rockabilly, greasy soul/R&B, lounge/exotica, '60s mod/beat/frat/surf/garage, and labels like Goner, Crypt, Norton, In the Red, Estrus, Bomp Records, etc). Talk about new local bands we should know about, shows happening in your towns, "scene" gossip, or whatever else interests you.

This group was formerly known as the Bomp Action Team: Missouri (Bomp decided to cancel all of their action teams after the death of Greg Shaw, so to keep this group going, I just changed the name). The new name honors Deke Dickerson's excellent old "Show-Me Blowout" fanzine... worth hunting down!
