This line from the song, "One Love/People Get Ready", is a basic theme in Reggae. Universal love, peace, and justice have always been ingredients that make Reggae meaningful and powerful. I have heard many types of music, but when I started to listen to Reggae, my whole outlook on music changed. I see it as a way to bring people together. All races, religions, and age groups seem to enjoy Reggae. The joy I experience when I see people dancing and singing along, gives me a feeling inside that is hard to describe. It is a happiness that flows through my entire being.
