So...how CAN we organize "ourselves" into an effective Peace movement?

All social movements had leaders, but "The Peace movement", though a real movement, has no leader or central organizing force. This has pros and cons. The pro part of it, is: it is not dogmatic and relies on everyone to define and express it in many ways. The hard part of this is: without unifying principals communicated clearly in a focused way,the movement can appear ineffectual.

Why is it that peace doesn't seem to receive as much mainstream news coverage as strife? One has to cross-reference independent alternative sources as well as weigh in news which is beneath the radar to keep up with "the news" and let's face it, even this requires further cross-comparison to assess veracity or bias.

Disasters such as the Tsunami remind us that we are all living on this beautiful, genius spinning rock of life and ought to be learning how to relate to one another rather than wasting energy alienating and attacking each other.

This is a safe forum (as much as one can ensure these days online anyway) within which to discuss and clarify causes of discord and causes of Peace for the purpose of discovering solutions in order to stimulate or invite more of it.

One love, one heart, setting ideologies aside....Let's get together and figure out ways that we can truly be all right and be all right with ourselves, each other, mother earth and all her creatures! Yea!
