Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend by the name of Common Sense who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such value lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm and that life isn't always fair. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn and reliable parenting strategies; adults, not kids, are in charge). His health began to rapidly deteriorate when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer aspirin to a student but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Finally, Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses, and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense finally gave up the ghost after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, spilled a bit in her lap, and was awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust, his wife, Discretion, his daughter, Responsibility, and his son, Reason. He is survived by two stepbrothers: My Rights and Ima Whiner. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
Liberals always blame America first. THEY ARE DESTROYING OUR NATION. They destroy it when they undermine morality, traditional values, giving the government limitless power over our personal lives, undermine efforts to defend ourselves, promote revisionist history, teach that whites are evil, promote the "age of the victim" where no one is responsible for their actions, promote free speech and freedom of religion for everyone except Christians or conservatives, preach about "rights" as long as it doesn't include the 2nd amendment, promote anti-capitalist beliefs, sympathy for terrorists, and just generally hating America. And I've never seen such hate for our own nation and own president as I've seen from the liberalism stemming from the 60's and the rabid hatred liberals have for President Bush. It is unparalleled. They never learn from history. Isn't it ironic that the nation and the people they bash are the same that give them the right to express their bogus ideas? This group is about the other side to the story; to inform people, especially those who have been indoctrinated by our schools. It is geared toward those who want to induce change in our colleges and fight the liberalism gripping them. God bless our troops (the real heroes), and the wonderful work they are doing. God bless our nation.
So many people have no idea how lucky they really are to be living here. Our nation is not overrun by poverty, starvation, and constant fighting and killing. We should be thankful we even have the freedom to speak what's on our mind, and worship as we wish, because in other parts of the world you can be killed for doing so. We must all stand up for our nation, whether it be on the battlefield fighting terrorists, or whether it is in the classroom, defending against extreme professors who are attempting to plague the minds of our youth with hatred toward America.
I feel that I am one of the luckiest people on this planet because I am privileged enough to live here in the U.S.A. The principles that this country is founded on have allowed us to become the greatest nation on this planet. I can only hope that we can all honor, respect, and stand up for our nation.
