This group is for fans of the artist René Magritte, whose form of surrealism, having more subtle and philosophical as well as mysterious subject matters than his contemporaries, has been very inspiring for me, in particular, because his art is genuinely thought provoking as well as beautiful. He often emphasized a juxtaposition of objective imagry, seemingly using them as symbols as a form of expressing a mysterious or philosophical insight.
