Hartford's only 21+ D&B, Jungle, complex beat monthly. It happens the first Thursday of each month at Sullys Pub in Hartford. This group will also be a spot to talk about events, music, radioshows, mixes and other things involving the everyday junglist, D&B head, beat junkie and MC... It is all about love for the beats, so post your sh*t!

With so much talent in this area, and the need for more entertainment in the capitol of Connecticut, THRESHOLD's goal is to bring Drum+Bass, Jungle and Complex Beats in its utmost proper style, once a month. Following the example of fellow friends rebuilding Connecticut’s rich electronic music scene, we are taking the initiative and providing the same entertainment for the Breakbeat culture lovers. We also need to demonstrate that the media’s portrayal of individuals associated with electronic music is a farce and just plain outright misinformation on misconstrued facts. We also want to show Drum+Bass, Jungle all other Complex Beat's diversity by presenting all flavors of this beautiful sound.

This event is thrown in a 21+ facility to demonstrate that electronic music can be very intelligent, classy, mature, and if you take time to listen, you will find a genre that suits you. Many of us are tired of hearing and seeing misrepresentations of music, whether it be a horrible interpretation; one sub-genre that gets overplayed; or the stereotype of being into electronic music is one who is into a certain kind of drug and wears a certain type of clothing. With all of these questions, we are trying to bring the answers and in a proper environment that we can all respectfully enjoy. This music was made for the people by people, in other words for you and me…

With so many new beginnings, THRESHOLD is just an addition to the wonderful mosaic that is being reconstructed around Connecticut, New England, the East Coast, United States and the World. The time is now, we have waited for that perfect opportunity to help re-build this culture properly and restart the revolution. All things evolve and come full circle, don’t miss the next wave, join us in a new era. Welcome to the THRESHOLD…
