More and more signed bands are booking their own tours. There's little support these days. There are so many great bands out there and so few notable booking agents willing to give the time of day. Unsigned bands have it even harder because they can't drop that they're on a label.

It's very overwhelming and we need to network.

Some people know all there is to know locally or regionally but are lost in other areas of the country.
