Management at WOXY claims that they may be the "first terrestrial radio station ever to make the full-time jump to the Internet." It's listed on several sites as being The best damn independant radio out there! They are way ahead of the curve and play bands years before they get famous (e.g. Coldplay (they were FIRST played on woxy in the states), Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse, etc...) and are usually the first to feature such bands. They also play a lot of imports and unsigned bands. It's funny to watch Subterannean on MTV because the bands they feature have been playing on WOXY for a while already.
