Bette Davis, history will no doubt have her in its books as the greatest actress of the 20th century, her bulging eyes, clipped speach and endless mannerisms just add to the epic proportions of the legendary woman. Noted as one of the most difficult women of the golden age of hollywood, bette davis never let one person get in the way of what she wanted, The Greatest Career any Actress ever had. I think she got it. in over 100 films bette drained us of every emotion we had, she made us cry in "Dark Victory" and "Now, Voyager", She made us scream in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" and "Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlote", She made us Laugh in "the Bride Came C.O.D.", and she made us feel pity for her in "Jezebel" and "All About Eve", but through all of these we always saw that infamous Davis spunk. 4 failed husbands, and countless illnesses never stood in the way, after a stroke in mis 80's doctors said she would never work again, Davis once again fought the world and went on to make 4 more films before her death in october of 1989. Her films are some of the greatest ever recorded on film by anyone let alone a "Little Brown Wren" from New England.
