Students for Animal Defense (SAD) is a group of individuals committed to the defense of all animals. We believe that animals should not be used for entertainment, food, clothing, experimentation and testing, or in any other area in which they are subject to the will of humans.

We are a student group that was formed at College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn, IL last year. We are currently opening several chapters in IL and working to start chapters across the U.S. Our group works to educate the public on the mistreatment, abuse, exploitation and murder of animals. If you would like to start a chapter, please send me an email and we will send you all the materials you need to get started.

The forum was created for all those interested in animal rights and total liberation. You need not be a vegan or vegetarian, or a member of a local SAD chapter to join. Our group is open to everyone who wishes to add constructive input and discussion topics. Those with ill intentions for this group or the animal rights movement will not be tolerated!
