Call them old, washed up or patrially deceased, but within the last decade no group of emcees put it down like N.W.A. did. Ice Cube, Eazy E, Dr. Dre, MC Ren and DJ Yella composed the group that was responsible for the hits "Express Yourself", "Fuck the Police", "Straight Outta Compton" and "Gangsta Gangsta".
Ice Cube's solo Carrer spawned the hits "It Was a Good Day" and "Check Yo Self", while later his other group Westside Connection had hits with "Bow Down" and "Gangsta Nation".
Eazy E's solo carrer led him to make the singles "Real Mutha Phukkin G's", "We Want Eazy" and "Eazy-er sed than dun", as well as discovering multi-platinuim rap act Bone Thugz-N-Harmony.
Dre since goin solo has become a very big, if not the biggest, producer in rap music. He has produced songs for Eminem, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Xzibit, Obie Trice, D12, G-Unit, Jay-Z and some of the top names in hip hop.
N.W.A. is still recognized as one of the biggest rap groups in the history of rap music and now you can be a member of N.W.A. This actually isnt a fan club thing, this is more or less me saying i wish i was in N.W.A.
