A WHL junior hockey team named the Medicine Hat Tigers who have become huge among Medicine Hat. After having five losing seasons and barely filling the stands the Medicine Hat Tigers got a coach named willy finally made the playoffs and became huge once again with the fans. They have over 1000+ fans waiting for season tickets and have sold out every game in the past two years. After making it to the memorial cup last year(2004) and losing they once again are doing well in playoffs and hoping this year to bring the cup home.
