TalkingComedy.com: When was your first attempt at standup?
Nick Swardson: I did an open mike in Minneapolis, February 12th, 1996. I signed up and did three minutes. It goes so fast. You're so nervous you just throw it up, literally, it's like you're throwing up your act. And then you just run off. The adrenaline numbs the whole experience. But, it was fun. It definitely was addictive.

Pablo Francisco:A lifelong comedy junkie, as kid Pablo competed with a friend to see who could video tape more comics from television. He got his first professional break at age 17, when he and his aforementioned buddy formed a duo called the "Blowout Boys," snuck into a local steakhouse and took honors in a comedy competition against older, but clearly inferior opponents. "A lot of them read their stuff from notes. At least we had memorized our material!" recalls Pablo.

Stephen Lynch:With his clean-cut image and tone physique, Lynch looks more like the "boy next door" rather than the stereotypical balding, overweight comedian. So when listening to his dark ballads that take on practically every taboo subject - including pedophile Catholic priests, dead girlfriends and gerbils - with goofy in-your-face humor, one can't help but to take a second look at the cover of Superhero and ask his or herself, "Is this really the same guy?".

Dave Chapelle:Chappelle started off as a teenage comic looking for a break and became a comedian with his own TV show. He had a subsequent fall from show business after he accused one of the television networks of racism, and then succeeded again, at 31, to fame and fabulous wealth.
And, as Correspondent Bob Simon reported in October, he's signed a two-year deal with Comedy Central that's potentially worth as much as $50 mil

Frank Caliendo:Caliendo found his niche performing on the college comedy circuit. Over the past few years, he has performed at over 300 universities and was nominated for College Comedian and Entertainer of the Year by the National Association of Campus Activities. Caliendo has performed stand-up on such series as cable's "Premium Blend," "The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn," "The View," and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." His signature 'John Madden' impression is frequently seen on "The Fox NFL Pre-Game Show," "The Best Damn Sports Show" and "Mohr Sports."

Television produced sitcom, “George Lopez.” The show is executive produced by Bruce Helford (“The Drew Carey Show,” “Roseanne”) and movie-star Sandra Bullock.
