::The Bio::
Flatline
Was formed in the summer of 2003
By guitarists Josh Wright, Joel Blackmon,
and drummer Adam Blackmon.
After a few months of writing and practicing,
The band decided they needed someone
To fill their empty void with bass and vocals.
They printed up a few hundred ads for a bassist and a singer.
They got one reply.
Joshua Baker was the answer they were looking for.
He filled in both the bass and vocal
Duties for the rest of the year.
In January 2004
Joshua Baker switched to playing strickly bass, and
They decided to get singer Anthony "AC" Cahill .
Now a five piece, each member could now devote their time
To their own specific instrument.
Flatline
Played numerous shows throughout the 2004 year.
In mid-2004, Flatline had a couple of role changes.
With Joshua Baker on vocals and AC on bass,
The band settled into their own individual roles
For what the band needed, and what suited them best individually.
With an opportunity to go back to college and
Wanting to pursue a career as a drummer..
AC decided to leave the band
Towards the begining of June 2005.
After a few weeks of searching
The remaining members revised their goals and
Brought in a new bassist.
Bassist Andy Knox was brought in.
Immediatley the guys' styles clicked and
They started where they had left off with AC.
Now, the only diffence is,
Is the foundation of the band
Is stronger now than ever.
Flatline's own unique style ranges
From light acoustic melodies to
Bone-crushing metal, and
Sometimes within the same song.
With an ever growing fan base,
Flatline is one of the bands
No one is soon to forget.
Their goal is to leave fans
"def, blind, and wanting more".
