What is Organic Gardening?
There are so many definitions and arguments but essentially the main principle of Organic Gardening is to grow your plants in harmony with nature.

  • DO view your garden as an entire system and work with nature to balance everything out--soil, plants, water, weather, wildlife & insects
  • DO create your own organic matter through composting
  • DO grow plants that are suited to your site
  • DON'T use synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides
  • DON'T try to play god--let the garden breathe and let nature do it's thing (just help support it when needed)
