Group Leader:

This group has but a few purposes: to glorify our wondrous Volvos and to give praise to the sensation that is National Public Radio (NPR) for these reasons:

Volvos look snazzy, especially old ones from the early nineties, when they had that boxy look.

NPR is soothing and refreshing with its extraordinary programs and exceedingly liberal bias.

Volvos gain instant respectability as they can be rather pricey (however, one can easily procure a used Volvo in greaet shape for about $10 grand).

One who listens to NPR will find it is easier than expected to listen to BBC News and understand every word of it.

Volvos will run FOREVER. Forever as in until 350,000 miles. I invite you to consider that shit.

NPR occasionally holds features and concerts regarding burned-out Folk Musicians. Hilarious.

Volvos are made in Sweden, a hotbed for Socialism, IKEA and ice-fishing.

NPR contains zero advertisements, instead replacing breaks between segments with a variety of music.

Volvos have enormous trunks, which are very good for storing all sorts of musical gear, boxes, bags, and I'm sure you could squeeze in two people comfortably.

Did we mention that NPR frequently hosts BBC News? Fuck yes we did.
