Welcome to Michigan Gig Trader! The place where artists / bands can trade gigs amongst eachother, as well as people who do booking for venues, booking agents, etc. This group is for everyone with some affiliation in the music industry! INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!

Ways to trade gigs:

1. You put another band on the ticket in exchange for them putting you on their ticket (i.e. you open up for me, I open up for you).

2. Do you have a hook-up at any particular club, bar, or other type of venue? Find other people with hook-ups to venues, and do it that way.

3. Any other way you please!

Concept:

Gig trading is a great way to get your foot in the door at venues where you've never played. Once you play a new venue with a band who you've traded with, now the venue knows about YOU and YOUR BAND. Now, it's much easier to book shows at that venue by yourself and make the money. Don't be afraid to play for free when you trade! Remember: It's an investment.
